When last we left them, our two little lovebirds, Lake Azure and Jucy Jonas had just moved in together...

Now, I'll admit, I suck. I have somehow misplaced the next few pictures but basically...
The next morning, Lake proposed, but Lucy inexplicably rejected him. Which is bizarre, considering she a) Has the Family-Oriented and Hopeless Romantic traits, and b) Had a want to marry Lake, but hey-ho.
After that morning's events, Lucy went down to the police station to surprise Lake. Mainly because I told her to. ;)
Lake, ever-persistent in his quest for a happy marriage, took the chance to propose again. Who could say no to that smile?
This time the dopey ol' mare said yes, and I frolicked joyfully for a little while.
After that, they went to their neighbours, the Darkweather's house, after all, what's a wedding without a big ceremony with a load o' guests?
Then, good old Storm automatically started flirting with Lucy, with which she was disgusted. I swear sims only started being this virtuous recently...
And Lake took the opportunity to brush his teeth. Why are my sims always mentally challenged?

Then the pink-haired delight, Anna-Marie took it upon herself to start flirting with Lake.
Look at the glare. Even when someone's trying to steal her man, she's graceful.
That night, Lake had planned a lovely romantic evening. They started with a little bit of this.

Then they settled down for a nice little picnic.
They really are such a cute couple.
After the romantic mood had been set, they decided that they didn't need a fancy wedding with all the bells and whistles. They were happy that they had eachother, and that was all that mattered to them. And me.
Lucy had always dreamed of having a big family, so she quit her job in preparation for being a mother.
Still, the future would call for some simoleans, so I set on a yet unexplored path. The path of sculpting.
And here's her first creation. I think I may store the family's urns on this. But in nevermeltice... Can't wait! :D
Ahah! Then it hit me! Self-employment!

And to celebrate their wedding and new employment, Mr and Mrs Azure got a little hot and heavy in the boudoir.

The maid was very intrigued by what was going on... Creepy weirdo.
Nice to see the previous evening's activities coming to fruition.
Meanwhile, Lake was putting his time off and logic skill into a bit of money-making galaxy-searching. I fell of my stool when I read how much his first star was worth. Nearly £2500!!!
Then she changed into this glamorous maternity dress.
Why are you so surprised? Never seen a pregnant woman dress not dressed in a mini-skirt and vest top?
Being ever the doting husband, he headed towards the bookstore, where he bought some pregnancy book to make the next few days easier.
Lake started one of the books the instant he got home.
And Lucy continued earning insanely disproportionate amounts of money.
Meanwhile...
While lake was out at work, Lucy got a bit lonely, being all cooped up alone, all preggerz like, so she struck up conversation with the woohoo-watching maid.
But soon Lake was home to molest her oddly toned baby bump.
Labour soon fell upon our yummy mummy, but never fear...
Lake was on hand to scream and dance around dramatically and not really help at all...

An introduction to our new addition, Jesse Azure.
Not sure how much of a start in life he'll have growing up in a house where people constantly stare in mirrors, but we'll find out soon.
